Today is Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques. The technique that I have for you today is the Re-inker Splatter technique.  This is a super easy technique and one we forget to use.  I will use this technique when I have a crisp White or Very Vanilla card stock piece on the front of my card and I think the card just needs a little something extra.   You are really going to love this technique and wonder why you never thought to use it.

You will notice the Whisper White piece on this card was embossed using the Hexagons Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is on the Retired List!  When you have a White or Very Vanilla piece on the front of your card and want to make it pop; just run your card stock through your machine inside an embossing folder and watch how you turn your plain card into a WOW card.  Now go ahead and add the Re-Inker Splatter technique; double Wow!

You will see I used my favorite Tailored Tag punch on the card front as well. I thought with the Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock it was saying Masculine.  You can easily create this card for graduation or any other occasion you have coming up just change up the sentiment.

In this case I chose the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment onto Crumb Cake card stock using Night of Navy ink.  The tag was punched out of a piece of Night of Navy card stock and then popped up on the card front using dimensionals.

Now grab your Re-inker and Aqua Painter and let’s have some fun!

I could not open your video so I googled it and found one on you tube on splattering ink. Maybe you could try to repost.

  2. Thanks Jeanne, It should be fixed now. There was a glitch in the link. I appreciate you reaching out and letting me know.
