A Haunting Good Time!

Since I posted a Christmas card already I thought I should show you a Halloween card.

I used the House of Haunts #111574 $22.95 stamp set for this card sample. I first embossed the house image using Black Craft ink and Black Embossing powder. I then punched a 1 3/8″ circle out of a sticky note and stuck it over the moon. Next I inked up the brayer with the Rich Razzleberry ink and brayered over the entire image. Once I achieved the desired color I took a paper towel and wiped off the excess ink. To brighten the house again I hit it with the heat gun again just for a few seconds. Now, take off the circle mask to reveal your white FULL moon. I do have a video tutorial on this technique on You Tube. It is hard to see on the picture but I embossed the black background with spider web embossing folder. Maybe this view is better:

Happy Stamping!
