Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques for today is the Corner Cutout Technique paired with the Pine Tree Punch from the Perfectly Plaid Bundle.

I’m going to be LIVE on my Facebook page tonight at 8:00PM EST.  I will show you this technique plus how to create a smaller Pine Tree using the Pine Tree Punch.

See how the second tree is a bit smaller than the first tree?  I’ll show you how it is done; super simple and just another way to use this punch.  I like to use the punches in different ways than what they were designed for so you can see the versatility in the punches and make them that much more of a value.

I was going to add all the different color Rhinestones to the trees but then decided to go with the Gold Metallic Pearls to bring out the gold in the paper as well as the sentiment.

The Sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set as well; stamped using the Shaded Spruce ink.  I matted it onto a Scalloped Gold Foil oval bringing out the gold in the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

Another pretty card using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle.  How are you coming on your Christmas Cards?  Are you about done?
