Thoughts & Prayers

Today’s post was a possible card that we were going to make in my Hybrid club this month.? The featured product/technqiue was different ways to emboss and different products used to emboss.? This card didn’t make the cut but I thought I’d show you anyways.

The stamp set used to create this card is new to the Spring/Summer catalog and I really like this set, it is called Thoughts & Prayers #113252 $25.95 pg 58.? I used the Chocolate Chip Craft ink to ink up the tree and then sprinkled on the Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat set.? I love how it gives the tree a nice shimmery sparkly effect.? It’s hard to see in the scan but it is beautiful in person.? I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock with Chocolate Chip ink.? I also used the Vanilla taffeta ribbon #109071$6.95 pg. 179 and the new Stampin’ Up! Lots of Tags Sizzlits #114508 $21.95 pg. 201 die with the Big Shot.? The Sentiment is from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set and I punched it out with the Wide Oval punch #112082 $15.95 pg. 184.
