Do you have the Tailored Tag punch from Stampin' Up!? If not you may want to give this punch a second look because you can do so much for with it than just punching out a sentiment or creating a mat. Tailored Tag Punch Scraps or Are They?  If you watched last night’s Live then you saw how I used the Tailored Tag punch to create different shapes and images.  I love it when you can use a product in more ways than it was ever intended on being used for.

See those 2 pieces of the Plaid Tidings Designer Paper on the bottom of today’s card?  Those 2 pieces were left over pieces from yesterday’s card.  I had them ready to go in the garbage when I thought; “Hey. those would create a great faux border.”  That’s right I said faux border as the Merry Christmas sentiment is stamped on the Very Vanilla card front; not punched out.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Celebration Tidings stamp set.

Any guesses as to what stamp set the Trees are from?  If you guessed the Campology stamp set than you are correct.  You probably wouldn’t look at that stamp set as a Christmas card stamp set; but trees can be used for SO many occasions.

Even though the Plaid Tidings Designer Paper has a bit of Whisper White running through it I used Very Vanilla; I think it goes a bit better with the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce colors.   The gold paper mat is the brushed gold from the Brushed Metallic 12 x 12 card stock pack.
