I just received the Words of Cheer Bundle 2021 and I love how easy this image is to color in. I used the Blends but you could also use Watercolor Pencils or Chalk as well. Need a bit of color therapy this would fill the bill on that.  This image colors in quick because there really isn’t much coloring involved.

This stamp set is sold in a bundle so you can die cut out the image or not the choice is yours.   I did die cut it out and popped it up on the front.

Words of Cheer Bundle 2021

The embossed background is also new and it is the Star-Crossed Embossing Folder.   Half the folder is stars and the other half is diagonal cross hatching.  I thought it went well with this stamp set.  See how the flower image is kind of on a diagonal and follows along with the embossed image.

The colors of Stampin’ Blends I used on the Words of Cheer Bundle stamped image are: Real Red Cherry Cobbler, Soft Succulent and Old Olive.

I used the Stitched Rectangles to die cut out the sentiment and to create the mat.  To finish off the card I added a few Pearls.

I know it seems a bit early yet to be working on Christmas cards but I couldn’t resist this stamp set.  I really like this image and all the sentiments in the stamp set.  It’s an easy set to take along to the cottage or on a vacation.  It just requires a few coloring mediums, Black Memento ink and and your imagination on what you would like to do with the image.  I’m thinking it would look beautiful in pinks or the Fresh Freesia as well.  Who said it has to be reds.
