Vivid Vases
This is another technique you can do with Vellum.

Actually there are 2 techniques on this sample:
– Faux Dry Embossing
– Faux Stained Glass

With the Faux Dry Embossing you stamp your image turn it over and using the Paper Piercing Mat and a Stylus you color in from the backside where you would like white to appear on the front side. It also puffs out the front.

With the Stained Glass technique you stamp or emboss your image on one side and color in your stamped image on the backside using markers or blendabilities.

I stamped the Vivid Vases on the Card Stock Vellum using Stazon ink. I then colored it in from the backside using various markers. (Hint: the darker your marker colors the better.)

I then used the Paper Piercing Mat and the Stylus to give it a Dry Embossed look.

I used the Square Framelits dies to create a frame around my vellum image and giving me an edge to adhere everything together.

The bottom half of the So Saffron card stock was embossed with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder (On Weekly Deals).
