You can use this paper all year long for any occasion you have coming up.  On Wednesday I showed how you can use the deer print for Christmas cards or Birthday cards.   If you missed Wednesday’s post you can view it here.

Last night I showed these 3 cards created from just one 12 x 12 sheet.  I created 2 gift card holders and 1 Birthday card.  This print is beautiful on both sides and like the deer print could be used for Birthday cards, Thinking of You, Just Because, Get Well or even Christmas cards.  What do you think?

Let’s take a look at the Cards:

For all the cards I brought in the Something Fancy dies from the annual catalog and the Throughout the Year sentiment stamp set from the Mini catalog.  A couple of things for you to keep in mind.  The Throughout the Year stamp set and the Winter Meadows Designer Series Paper are NOT being retired from the Mini Catalog they are on the Carry Over list and this means you will see them either in future publications or on the Online Exclusives line.

For this card all I did was added a strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock under the sentiment piece and over the top of the strip cut from the side of the Designer Series Paper.  The pearls are from the Festive Pearls pack.  Sweet and simple.

This is how the inside looks for both gift card holders.  In the pocket is the gift card and a notecard that you can either stamp on or write your message on.  Do you give gift card holders for Christmas or Birthdays?  I sure do and why not make a pretty card to hold the gift card in and this one sheet wonder technique is super easy and quick to do just that.

Now the same card without the Cherry Cobbler cardstock strip turned into a Birthday card.  Again the sentiment is from the Throughout the Year stamp set and the die cuts are from the Something Fancy dies.  The festive pearls have those pretty pool party pearls and I think they go great with this print, don’t you?  The inside of the card is exactly the same expect inside of the notecard being attached to a Cherry Cobbler cardstock piece I used the coordinating Pretty Peacock cardstock.

Bonus Card:

The bonus card was created with the diagonal strips that you cut off to create the pocket for the gift card holders.  You could use one strip on the card front and create 2 cards, but I decided to add them both to the card front.  You will want to add them to a piece of Basic White cardstock add the center strip across where they meet and cut off the excess from the backside before attaching to the card base.

This bonus card could be a Christmas card or other occasion card just by changing the sentiment.

You also could change up the color of the strip that runs across the front as I did for this sample.   I chose to make this one a birthday card as well, but could be a Christmas card.
