Timeless Tropical Bundle with the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper makes me want to go on an island vacation.  How about you?

This fun tropical card was one of the shoebox swaps I created at the Retreat in Texas.  This card was designed by my team mate Cindy Bristow.   She also gave a few of us a demonstration on how to color in the flowers using the Stampin’ Markers.  Cindy colored the large flower and I tried my hand at the smaller two.   I was pretty amazed at myself and how they turned out.  She was an excellent teacher.

We used a variety of different marker colors; which I guess is part of the reason I never like my coloring.  I would never of thought to use so many different colors but that is what gives the depth to the stamped images.

I’ll try to remember what colors we used:  Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Old Olive, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, and So Saffron,

We also used the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder on the Crumb Cake card stock and then ran the ink pad over the top go really bring out the texture.

This has the coordinating Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper in the Suite of products; which are gorgeous prints as well.
