This was the first card I made.  I used the 2″ X 12″ strip to punch out my birds.  I used a 1 1/2″ circle punch.  You could use the Stylish Shapes dies as well but I have the retired circle punches so that makes things a bit quicker.  I attached these to a second strip of the same designer series paper; just the reverse side of it.

The sentiment is from the Garden Meadow stamp set that is part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit this month.  It was already out on my table, so I thought I’ll use those sentiments for today’s two cards.   I die cut the sentiment banners using the Nested Essentials Dies.

The Silver dots are from the Festive Pearls package, and I think work perfectly with this card.  I added a few to the flower centers and one on the sentiment banner.

To be honest this card was created with my left-over scraps from the first card.  I had a strips left over from the first two strips, I cut so I just used the strip with the holes punched out for my background strip under the bird strip that was also left over from the first card.  It worked out perfectly.  The card base is Boho Blue and was embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  I used it for both cards as well.  For this card I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment using Boho Blue ink and then embossed it.  This card is perfect for mailing as it doesn’t have much layering and no bling or dimensionals.
