I told you we had a lot of birthday’s coming in the New Year.

I wanted to make this card a little bit different than your ordinary opening card, so I added the flip up banner to the front.

Inside it has both of the coordinating sentiments from the “Remembering Your Birthday” stamp set.

The base is 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ Crumb Cake with a layer of Early Espresso 4″ X 5 1/4″.

The Crumb Cake flip Banner front was run through the Big Shot inside the Arrows Embossing Folder and sponged with a little Crumb Cake ink to bring out the embossing a little more.

The hunting dog was stamped on Crumb Cake using Early Espresso ink and colored in with a blender pen and markers. I then cut it out using the Ovals Framelits Collection.
