Here’s a twist on the Sending Hugs Bundle 2021 from Stampin’ Up! Don’t need or want the word Hug in the center of your flower bouquet? No problem just stamp a sentiment you would like and either die cut it out or simply cut it out and adhere over the HUGS sentiment.   You can mat your sentiment or not the choice is yours.

It’s hard to see in the photo but I did use different colored blends for the tulip looking flowers but after coloring the leaves they all started to blend together.  Next time I think I might go for a Yellow for the Tulips or Red.  The colors I used were:  Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Just Jade and Shaded Spruce.  Don’t get me wrong I still think this card is very pretty but next time I will either do all the flowers in Flirty Flamingo or something else.

Sending Hugs Bundle 2021

The sentiment I used for the center of the bouquet is from the A Wish for Everything stamp set.  My plan is to send this card to my niece who is battling Sarcoma Cancer.

The Sending Hugs Bundle 2021 does have coordinating dies and I do recommend getting the bundle and saving 10% but I did not use the dies on this card.

Sending Hugs Bundle Stampin Up 2021

To get the beautiful Pearls in the Flirty Flamingo color I just used my dark Flirty Flamingo Blend.

Also, I did not pop up the sentiment on the card front as then I think you would see the HUGS stamped image behind the dimensionals.

Maybe this should be a little sneaky tip instead of a twist.
