Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Day Suite. I was needing a card for a team member who has been sick for a while now and I just wanted to send her a hug in the mail. The Splendid Day Designer Series paper is just gorgeous with the foil image on one side and regular matte prints on the other side; it is hard to decide which side to use.

It is a bit hard to see in the photo but I stamped and embossed the Sending Hugs in Silver to coordinate with the silver ribbon and the banner die cut image.  The paper has a shimmery Soft Sea Foam print with White embossed image running through it but I think Silver goes great with it.

The new Festive Pearls go great with this bundle as well.  Do you see the little ladybug in the print as well?  I love how he is hidden throughout the print.  I think he fell in the right spot on this card; don’t you?

I brought in the Stylish Shapes Dies and the Layering Circles Dies for this card.  The Silver trim is part of the Simply Elegant gold and silver trim pack.  You will be seeing more of this trim as I tend to pair it with my Christmas Cards.  I love to emboss on my Christmas cards with Silver or Gold and then add a bit of coordinating trim to finish off the cards.  I think embossing makes a card so stunning.
