Let’s create fun Gatefold Fun Fold Cards with Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper Packs. When you can’t decide which paper prints to use; what do you do? I try them all out.   First up is the beautiful Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper; which is free during Sale-a-bration when you place a min. $50.00 order.  This has become one of my favorite paper packs.  The colors are so pretty and the birds are so easy to hand cut out and become the beautiful focal points to the cards.

The sentiment is from the Go To Greetings stamp set and was die cut out with the Stylish Shapes banner die.  I also addd a couple of the Iridescent pearls; got to have some bling.  You might be wondering where that embossing on the basic white square came from, that is from the FREE Sale-a-bration Softly Sophisticated Bundle.  This bundle has that gorgeous embossing folder in the pack with a stamp set.  This bundle is FREE when a min. $100.00 order is placed.

You may be wondering where is the gatefold to this card.  The diamond shape on the front hides the gatefold, which was created with the Countryside Corner dies.

Here is a picture of the inside which shows how the gatefold was created.  I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock that was cut 4 1/4″ X 10″ and each end was scored at 2 1/2″; fold on the score lines meeting the ends in the center and then place the largest Countryside Corner die over the top and run it through your Cut & Emboss Machine.  Make sure that both ends of the cutting blade are not going to cut through the folded cardstock.

On the inside I added a little bird that I hand cut from one of the prints from the paper pack.

Next up is the Sale-a-bration Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper.  This is another FREE package of paper you can choose with a min.  $50.00 order has been placed.  This pretty pack of paper coordinates with the Stippled Rose bundle which has some nice sentiments for Mother’s Day, Birthday or Wedding fun fold cards.  I used the flower bouquets from a print in the pack on this card like the birds.  Instead of the Stylish Shapes dies I used the smaller Countryside Corner dies for the mat and sentiment piece.  I also accented the front with the Iridescent Foil Gems and a little bow from the retired Calypso Coral trim.

You can probably see the gatefold easier on this card, since the front pieces do not cover up the center where it opens up.  On the inside I added a rose that I hand cut from a piece of the designer series paper.

You know I had to use the Free Sale-a-bration Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper too. This is another Free pack of paper you can choose when placing a min. $50.00 order.  This paper pack coordinates with the Trusty Tools Bundle, which has great sentiments for Father’s Day and Birthday’s for the men in your life.  The tools were hand cut from the paper prints and I love the bright colors used in the prints.  To accent the front I used the Rustic Metallic Dots which give it that metal look and feel.

On the inside of this card I added the saw which was cut from the printed paper.  You can see the gatefold on this card as well because of it being white and the use of the smaller Countryside Corner dies.

There you have it three different cards using the same layout and the same technique but each uses a different Sale-a-bration paper pack.  Which paper pack is your favorite?  I have a hard time deciding, but if I had to say my top would be the Flight & Airy paper pack, next the Trusty Toolbox paper pack, and finally the Softly Stippled paper pack.  This is just my opinion, yours might be totally different.  I love the softness and the pretty cards I’ve created with the Flight & Airy paper and I love the bold colors of the Trusty Toolbox papers, plus everyone tends to struggle with creating masculine cards; so this paper helps greatly in that aspect.
