Before I dive into last night’s One Sheet Wonder class and this gorgeous card, I want to give you an update on my blog.   Yesterday my blog was broken to the point my IT guys were saying I would have to rebuild my blog from scratch.  I just couldn’t bring myself to starting over again after blogging for 15+ years.  I was beside myself on what I could do to keep my business afloat.  My only options were to use my YouTube channel, my Facebook page, Instagram and Pinterest to keep myself going.   These are all great avenues to show you my creations and teach you a trick or two but they don’t tell the story like my blog does.  I’m happy to have it up and running again; but it also shows me that if you don’t want to miss anything you might want to subscribe to my other social media avenues as well.  I think each platform has its purpose and they all work well together.  To subscribe to my other platforms just click on them in the list below:

Scenic Spanner Panel Fun Fold Card:

What is a spanner panel card?  Well these cards actually open up twice.  You can see in the photo the Window sheet strip that spans the front of the card attaches to the two outside flaps creating the card front.  The center panel of the card opens up second  to reveal the inside of the card.  This is a great fold to show those scenic prints and we all love a different type card with a fun opening.

In this photo you can see the front panel section of the card is flipped up showing the window sheet spanned across.  This also reveals the center panel fully with the accented piece that is added under the spanner portion of the card front.  In this case I used the gate die which is part of the coordinating Garden Meadow Bundle and the little flower bush to accent this center panel.

I used the adhesive-backed dragonflies & Birds to accent not only the front but also this center panel.  These are on backorder and expected back into the warehouse the week of February 5, 2024.  If you are in my card club you will get a package of these in your kit.  Not familiar with my Stamp Camp At Home Card Club, click HERE for the details.

Here the card is fully opened to reveal the inside of the card where you can decorate it with a strip of the designer series paper and another die cut created from the coordinating bundle.
