Fun Fold Friday – Creating a Graduation card like no other! This card is super cute and easy to assemble. It fits perfectly inside a regular envelope and what is so neat about it is the hat will pivot to open up the card. Believe me your graduate is going to think this card is so stinking fun to open and close. Who doesn’t like a fun little mechanism inside the card?

You can create this Grad card in any color combination that you need. I generally will do the school colors for the graduate but since I don’t have any graduates this year I went with the Real Red, Basic Gray and White.

See how the Graduation Hat sits on top of the card? It actually pivots like this to open up the card.

Yes, I did create the tassel. I created it the same way I showed you how to create a tassel in last week Friday’s Graduation Fun Fold card. That was done with the Twine from the Well Suited Combo pack. It comes in Basic Gray and Night of Navy. If you missed last week’s grad card you can find it HERE.

Here it is partially open so you get the idea on how it works. You will find the Downloadable Project sheet below in this blog post. You can print it out for the Dimensions and it also will have the supply list of everything I used on the Graduation card today.

With the Graduation Hat fully pivoted you can now see how it opens all the way up to reveal the sentiment on the inside.

The sentiments that I used on the inside are from the Many Mates stamp set which by the way is on the retired list. You only have until May 3rd to get your retired items before they are gone for good! You will find all the list of retired items below in this post.
