I paired this technique with the Golden Afternoon stamp set and the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

Together these make a great masculine card for any occasion.

I used the Balmy Blue card stock and ran it through the big shot inside the Pinewood Planks embossing folder bringing out the blue I used on the faux Mother of Pearl technique.

The tree was painted in with the Old Olive and Soft Suede reinkers and the Blender pen.

The sentiment was stamped and added to the Tailored Tag punch.

I finished it off with a couple of Black Faceted drops.
