Card #1 – Interlocking Fun Fold Card

The first card is an Interlocking Fun Fold Card featuring products from the Silly Old Bear Suite. For this card, I used the Sweet Words & Labels Bundle, which coordinates beautifully with the designer series paper.

The card base is Mossy Meadow, and I carried that color through to the oval frame on the front of the card. One of my favorite things about this suite is how many elements can be cut directly from the designer series paper. The adorable Pooh image on the front was die cut right from the paper, making this card quick and easy to create.

For the inside of the card, I hand-cut another image from the designer series paper to continue the theme and add a special finishing touch. A simple twine bow and a few Natural Matte Dots complete the design without overwhelming the focal image.

This card is a wonderful example of how versatile the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper can be. With a few coordinating products and a fun fold design, you can create a card that is both charming and memorable.

Silly Old Bear Stamping Specials

The next two cards I’m sharing today come from a group of demonstrators that I participate with each month. We create and share cards along with PDF tutorials featuring a variety of stamp sets, bundles, and suites.

This group is an amazing resource because it allows me to see creative ideas using products I may not own myself. It also introduces me to new fun fold designs, creative layouts, color combinations, and stamping techniques that I can use in my own crafting.

One of the things I enjoy most is seeing how different crafters interpret the same suite or bundle. Everyone brings their own style to a project, resulting in a wonderful variety of card designs and ideas. It’s a great way to discover fresh inspiration while learning new techniques and fun fold card styles that I can then share with all of you.

Card #2 is another fun fold design, but this one features a fun peek-a-boo front. The oval opening is die cut directly from the card front, allowing you to get a glimpse of the focal image inside before opening the card. This style of card is always a favorite because it creates a little surprise and adds extra interest to the design.

The coordinating designer series paper and die-cut elements work together beautifully, making this card both eye-catching and easy to recreate. It’s a wonderful layout that can be adapted for many different occasions simply by changing the paper and greeting.

Card #3 features a very unique and different opening that really makes this design stand out. This card uses only half of a card front, which already gives it an interesting structure, but the real focal point is the large oval die cut on the front panel that beautifully frames the adorable images from the Sweet Old Friends Bundle.

The characters on this card were stamped first and then colored using Stampin’ Blends, giving them soft shading and dimension. After coloring, they were die cut using the coordinating dies to create a clean and polished finish.

If you prefer a quicker option, you could easily hand cut some of the images directly from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper to achieve a similar look. That’s one of the things I love most about this suite—there are so many ways to create, whether you enjoy coloring or prefer fussy cutting from patterned paper.
