I know I said last week Thursday would be the last One Sheet Wonder cards featuring the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper, but I couldn’t help myself and had to create just one more group of cards created from just one 6 x 6 sheet.  You will use the entire sheet on the 2 cards with no scraps left-over.  There are 3 prints in this pack that have a scene at the top of the printed paper and the bottom half is a beautiful blend of all the colors used in the scene.  These 3 prints can be used with this One Sheet Wonder layout and because this paper pack has 4 sheets of each print you can create 24 One Sheet Wonder cards in no time.  What’s even better is these prints can be used for any occasion or event.  You can add your sentiment to your cards when you are creating them or leave the sentiment off and add the sentiment as needed.  To add the sentiments as needed I would use either a punch or die cuts to add the sentiments to the cards, instead of stamping directly onto the scenic printed papers.

This was the first of the two cards created.  In the video I stated that I would create this card first and then change it up a bit for the second card, so you can decide which option you like best.  For this card, I have an 1/8″ Border of the Basic White showing for the paper pieces and the card base.  The Boho Blue cardstock was left plain.  The layout is exactly the same for both cards; with just a few changes.

For both cards I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Magnolia Mood bundle, which is on Sale until the end of this month.  This is a gorgeous bundle and I encourage you to get it; if you haven’t already.

Measurements for Card #1:
– Base:  Thick Basic White: 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
– Boho Blue cardstock: 4″ X 5 1/4″
– Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper:  (2) 3″ X 6″ cut down to 3″ X 3 1/2″ and 3″ X 2 1/2″
– Basic White Mats:  2 3/4″ X 3 1/4″
– Basic White Mats:  3 1/4″ X 3 3/4″

This is the second card I created and has a few changes from the first card.  You will notice that the basic white mats and card base is thinner on this card.  That is because I cut the mats 1/8″ smaller and the Boho Blue cardstock is an 1/8″ larger.  I also ran the Boho Blue cardstock through my Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  I wanted to give the background a bit of texture and not so plain.  It is barely visible in the photo but in person it really stands out more.

To accent both cards I used the Adhesive-backed Pearl Trio pack.
