Let’s create a simply simple card using the Friends of the Ocean suite.  In this product suite you will find the Ocean Friends Bundle, which has coordinating dies to die cut the oh so pretty Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper.  There are two dies that will cut the crab and the lobster from the paper.  If you love bright and pretty paper, you will love this paper pack.  Also, in the suite are the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder and the Sunny Day Iridescent dots.

This bright and fun card is all put together with paper pieces and a few different die cuts.  Bonus, you will find the PDF file for today’s card down below in this blog post.

On the inside is this gorgeous bright pink lobster, die cut from one of the pieces of the Friends of the Ocean designer series paper.   I love this bright and cheery paper, which fits my style perfectly.

The paper prints on the card front are all from the same sheet and each section is just flipped. This simple card layout creates the perfect card in a flash, and you can create multiples of this card with a 12 X 12 sheet or just by using paper scraps. Cut your first piece at 3 3/4″ X 5″ and then cut that piece at 2 1/4″ X 5” leaving you with a strip that is1 1/2″ X 5″; take both of those strips and cut them at 2 3/4″. Then it is just a matter of adhering them to a piece of cardstock and flipping each section as shown. Once you have attached this to your coordinating card front you can then decide how to accessorize your card front.

To finish my card, I used the Stylish Shapes dies and the Spotlight on Nature dies to be my focal point with the Thanks so much sentiment from the coordinating Ocean Friends Bundle. I stamped the sentiment using Pumpkin Pie ink and then die cut the crab from a piece of the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper.

The final touch was the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots.
