Simple Stamping with the Easter Promise Stamp Set.  Stampin’ Up! has encouraged demonstrators to go to Simple Stamping during this time of uncertainty.  We are encouraged to go back to our roots of ink, paper and stamps.

So for the next couple of days I’m going to show you how to take this card from Simple which is today’s card to a bit more stepped up to a Wow card.

Today’s card is one layer no frills; but it does have a bit of a technique to it.  The Balmy Blue square was created using the clear block technique.  This is a super easy technique that can add a bit of faux layering to your card or some faux dimension.  This is also a technique that turns out differently every time; depending on the amount of ink on your block.

I colored in the flowers on this card with the Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green Blends with a bit of Daffodil Delight.
