The challenge this week was to make a gratitude or Thankful card.

I new I wanted to use the Vintage Leaves stamp set and I also had the perfect sentiment in mind. The sentiment is from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set which I could have used those leaves for my card as well but I already had the Vintage Leaves set out on my desk.

The colors are Very Vanilla, Delightful Dijon and Early Espresso. These are great Fall colors together; even though as I’m typing up this post it is a rain/snow mix today. YUCK! Yes, the leaves are mostly all gone and the brown has moved in for winter here in Michigan.

I also wanted to give the Very Vanilla piece a little something other than keeping it plain so I ran it through the Big Shot inside the Woodgrain textured impressions embossing folder and added a little spritz of color using the Early Espresso marker and a little flick technique.

The leaves were stamped in Early Espresso on Delightful Dijon cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating framelit.

The little Gold bow gives it just the right amount of bling and glitz.
