Remember a while back I showed you my 5 In Color cards created from 1 sheet of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.   Well those 5 cards I would consider basic cards.  Why would I say basic cards?  Well they are basically some designer series paper and a sentiment quick and easy.  So, I decided to step up one of the cards using my Turtle Friends Bundle.

It’s always nice to have a few basic cards on hand ready to be stepped up depending on what occasion you need a card for.  You can use a variety of stamp sets to step up your basic cards whether you need a kids card, birthday card, masculine card, wedding card, get well card with these basic cards you are half way to a finished card.

These are the basic cards.  The Designer Series Paper on all 5 cards is from (1) 6 x 6 Evening Evergreen Designer Series Paper.  You could add the Turtle Friends Bundle to any of these cards to create a cute kids card for any occasion.

See a little sneak peek on the inside.  Yup that is our turtle friend inside as well; isn’t he so darn cute?  Really I didn’t do a whole lot to step up this card other than stamp the turtle inside and on a piece of scrap paper and punch him out.  See that’s what makes basic cards so nice to have on hand; this card could have just as easily had a tree or flowers on it and been more for an adult.
