I know I’m a bit behind in posting my kits I’ve completed from the Stampin’ Up! kits collection as two new kits just released yesterday, but better late than never.  I feel very confident with the new Heirlooms Arrangements Kit, which released in February, that you can expand your creativity with ease.   This kit is full of beautiful die cut images that you arrange onto your card fronts however you like.  I went according to the photos in the color printed instructions and I had many left-over die cut images that I could use on other cards or projects.  The directions will show you a couple different cards and layouts to get you started and then you just create from there.

This kit makes 8 cards and has a variety of different sentiments in the stamp set included in the kit. It also comes with the Pecan Pie ink spot and clear block, so you have everything you need to complete all the cards.  I wanted to make my cards all Thank You cards to send out to my customers who placed an online order with me in February.

There is total of 4 different card bases with the same color and print, 2 of each for a total of 8 cards.   The coordinating envelopes also have a print on them and the instructions tell you to stamp an image on the front of the envelope as well.  I must confess I skipped this step; just not enough time, because I wanted to get my thank you cards out the door.

Sometimes these kits collection kits are a bit out of the norm for me; as this kit was.  I am not one to make a collage of different elements on the card fronts like these cards.  I must say they turned out rather nice and I’m thankful I purchased this kit and created the cards as it is always a good thing to go outside of your comfort once in a while.  This is something new for me and I might give it a try in the future.

Another reason I really enjoy the kits collection kits is the ease and quickness of putting all the cards together.  I can create all the cards in the kit in about an hour to an hour and a half.  Also, when you have the ability to stamp and add the sentiment at a later date it is nice, so you can have the cards created and at the ready for any occasion you have coming up.  Just choose a card, stamp the sentiment, adhere the sentiment to your card front, stamp or write on the inside and you are ready to go.

All in all I would recommend this kit.  If you need step by step instructions for each of the cards; then this might not be the card kit for you, but if you like to be creative and see what you can come up with, then you might enjoy this kit.

The card kit consist of cardstock and punched pieces needed to create the 3 cards.  It does not contain the stamp set, punch or inks.  You will have the sequins and designer paper in your bundle of products, so you will need to cut the designer paper according to the pdf files.
