This is the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and the Heirloom Dies and Embossing Folders from Stampin’ Up! Love the detail in the embossing. You will get this Oval Die and Embossing Folder along with the Rectangle Die and Embossing Folder I demonstrated last night on my Facebook page. Scroll down through post for the video from last night.

These dies and embossing folders are simple to use but it is a 2 step process. You will love the results and they are perfect for using as frames, peek-a-boo cards, and great for adding dimension to your cards and projects.

On today’s card I framed a piece of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. The prints in this pack are so gorgeous you will just want to frame them all. Love the look and this card can be used for some many different occasions. Are you loving the birds?

The Spring or Summer colors on this card are perfect for this time of year. As I’m writing this post I can hear all the birds outside singing away; love it!

I think you can see on this photo the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder I used on the Pool Party background piece. This is the first time I’ve used this embossing folder and I think it is a keeper!

In this photo I think you can see all the detail in the Embossed Oval; isn’t it gorgeous? I also didn’t pop up the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper in the center so that it looks more like a picture. To really give it that look and feel of a framed picture you could add a piece of Window Sheet behind the frame. I’ll have to give it a try so you can see what that looks like.

To finish off the card I’ve added a couple of Pearls in the upper and lower corners of the card.
