You may have seen this graduation card design before, but this time I’ve turned it into a gift card holder/money holder/check holder.  Just a tweak to a past card brings it new again.  I also did another video for you, and you will find it below in this blog post.

My nephew just graduated from college this weekend and I wanted to create a special card for him and enclose a check.  When looking through my past graduation cards, this one popped out at me, and I thought I can make it a gift card holder/cash holder by just adding a piece to the backside.

With the Birthday Celebrations dies, which by the way are part of my May Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit product suite, I could add the year on the backside making this extra special.

You still have plenty of room on the inside of the card to stamp or write your sentiment and sign your name.  The sentiment on my card is from the Cap & Gown stamp set, which is an online exclusive set, you will not find it in any of the Stampin’ Up! publications.

The tassel on the cap is also from the Birthday Celebrations dies.  I added a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the backside of the Gold Foil paper before running it through my Cut & Emboss Machines, so just a quick peel and stick.

The “button” on the top of my hat is from the Gold Textured Dots, which are on SALE and while supplies last, they are on the last chance list.
