No matter what stamp set you put with the Scalloped Contour Dies you will have a winning card on your hands. Today I paired it with the Hand Penned Petals 2021 stamp set. Fabulous!

The Scalloped Contour Dies are part of the Color and Contour Bundle in the 2021 annual catalog.  I know I have showed you this fabulous bundle before and now I want you to see just how versatile the dies can be with or without the coordinating stamp set.  But, keep in mind whenever you purchase a bundle you will save 10% whether it is a die bundle or a punch bundle.

Hand Penned Petals 2021

I created this card for a swap that I’m in with my team.  We were to create a card using new products from the new Annual Catalog.  The Hand Penned Petals 2021 stamp set has coordinating inside images to fill in the outline image stamps in the set.  Well it is one of those artsy stamp sets that the fill in doesn’t quite match the outline image so I went and colored in the missed sections with my Highland Heather Blends.  The solid fill image from the stamp set I used the new Fresh Freesia ink pad to stamp that.   So if you are wondering how I got the 2 shades of ink on my flowers that’s how it was done.  The stem and leaves were colored in with the Granny Apple Green Blends.

The Thanks sentiment is part of the Hand Penned Petals 2021 stamp set.  The sweet little bow was tied using Dean’s Bow Maker and the Fresh Freesia Ribbon.  Finally I added a few of the Fresh Freesia Jewels to finish off the card.

These swap cards went out in the mail today along with the other team member swaps.  I’ll show you all the swaps soon!

What do you think?  I believe the Color and Contour Scalloped dies will go with any stamp set and are a great resource for all your card making.  I love to layer up the different sized scallop die cuts.  Some have a stitched edging with scalloped and others do not.  There are lots of different scallop layers to these dies so you can mix and match them; use them for stamped images and sentiments.
