Create a simple card with the Grassy Grove dies and the One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper.  So pretty and oh so simple!  When I was having my morning coffee this morning and looked outside as the snow was falling a mother deer and her yearling were racing across the field behind our house.  The mama deer was definitely on a mission as she was leaving her baby in the dust.   Now you might think that I have these blog post created weeks or even months in advance, but I am a last minute person, so I hadn’t even decided what I was going to post for today’s card until I saw this scene unfold.   Now my paper doesn’t have the snow falling as it is today, but I loved this soft yellow print with those blueish gray trees and knew right away I had to create a simple card with this awesome print and the Grassy Grove dies.

I also knew I wanted to pop up the die cut piece on the card front and also the deers.  At first I had the die cut piece the exact same size as the designer series paper, but then decided I wanted to have a bit of that beautiful yellow print showing on the sides as well.

I picked up that yellow in the sentiment piece, which is from the Grassy Grove stamp set and then I used the Double Ovals punch to punch out the sentiment and attach it to the front corner.

No bling was added to this card, as I think it is simple and gorgeous without any added bling.  This paper pack is an online exclusive so you will not find it in any of the current catalogs or on the retired list.  Keep in mind that items on the online exclusive list are while supplies last.   As of this morning you can still purchase this paper.
