Gorgeous Grape Beautiful Friendship Birthday Cards are simple to stamp and oh so pretty!  I can’t seem to get away from this stamp set when it comes to simple stamping; this set is perfect.

I love that this is a Distinktive stamp set as it gives so much dimension and details with just the stamp and ink.

I started out making this card first and after it was finished I thought it might look better with a smaller stamped piece and then matted onto a Whisper White card base.  So I created the 2nd card.  I do like to have a Whisper White card base because then you do no have to add a piece to the inside as it is already white.

Which do you prefer better the first card or the second card?

They are both done the exact same way only the second one I cut the main Whisper White piece smaller.

The colors are Gorgeous Grape and Mossy Meadow.  I had to use the marker on the smaller flowers with the stems; so they seem a bit darker to me.

After looking at this I wonder if I should have stamped the sentiment in the Gorgeous Grape instead of Black; might be pretty as well.
