Need a Masculine Birthday Card?  How about the Clubhouse stamp set from the Mini Catalog?

This card was another shoebox swap that I did at the Retreat in Texas.  The creator of this card was France Martin.  I love the different technique we used on this card; one I haven’t done before.

I stamped the script first onto the Watercolor Paper.  I believe this was from the Very Versailles stamp set.

Next I stamped the golfer using Soft Suede ink.  I then took the Aqua Painter filled with water and ran it across the golfer.  I love how this turned out; it is almost like burned into the paper.  It reminds me of wood burning but it’s paper.  So cool!

The Happy Birthday sentiment is in the Clubhouse stamp set.  This is also a great set and has sentiments for Father’s Day as well.

Once dry I roughed up the edges using my finger nail but you could use your scissors as well.  Added a little burlap braided trim to the corner and that’s about it.
