I was back Live on my YouTube Channel last night and showed how to create these fun fold cards using just 1 sheet of the Fruit Salad Sale-a-bration FREE paper pack.   I featured this paper pack on Monday’s blog post showing another one sheet wonder pattern and how you can create 2 cards from just 1 sheet of this paper.  If you didn’t know one sheet wonder cards are my jam and I’m hoping to get back into the swing of them soon!

Funny I said swing as today’s fun fold cards have a swing to open them up.  This is showing the inside of the card and how I used the negative image after die cutting the Nested Essentials die from one of the 3″ X 5 1/4″ piece of fruit salad paper.  By adhering it all the way to the left-hand side inside your card you will get that basic white strip showing on your card front for a clean look.

These fun fold cards are the perfect way to use the entire 6 x 6 piece on one card.  If you were to use a 12 x 12 piece of designer series paper you could create 4 of these cards from just one sheet.  This is a great way to use up those papers we all have in a flash and who doesn’t love a good fun fold.

To add your sentiment you have many different options.  I used the Stylish Shapes dies to create this banner and the sentiment on the card front as well as on the inside of the card came from the FREE Sale-a-bration Day to Celebrate stamp set.  Both the Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper and the Day to Celebrate stamp set on FREE with a min. $60.00 order (before shipping and tax).  If you wished to get. both of these items for FREE you would need to place a min. $120.00 order.

This pear card was done the exact same way as the first card the only difference is where you place your sentiment.  I wanted to have it under the cut pear instead of going across it.  The card base is Garden Green as is the ink color.  The bling on all the cards is from the Transparent adhesive-backed dots.

For the last card I changed up the sentiment, which came from the same free Day to Celebrate stamp set only this time I die cut the banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies to match the cut from the Nested Essentials dies.  You will see in the video just how I did this.

I also changed the left-hand piece of the Fruit Salad paper showing the backside of it instead of the front as I did on the other 2 cards.
