Saturday Sketch Challenge featuring the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! paired with the For Unto Us Stampin’ Up! stamp set is the perfect combination for not only a quick and easy card but, “Oh so pretty!”

Today’s sketch challenge is from Try Stampin’ On Tuesday TSOT487.  I first did the Pretty Peacock card on the left and then thought maybe it would look better in Very Vanilla.  After they both were completed I couldn’t decide which I liked better.  Which do you like better?

The sketch is a simple sketch but you can really get different looks using it with different papers, stamp sets and bling.   I choose the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Paper because I love the copper foiling throughout the prints; it is just so rich looking.

This particular print in the pack is very eye catching with the copper foil and the Pretty Peacock background.  The card may be simple but it really is a stunner.

I think the Pretty Peacock card base gives it just a bit richer look but I also like it in the Very Vanilla.  It’s a toss up for me.

The sentiments in the For Unto Us stamp set is perfect for this paper pack as well as all the different Christmas stamp sets in the mini.  Great sentiments for inside and outside of the cards.
