When I create cards for a swap I will design it in a variety of ways and then decide which one I will be mass producing.  For this particular swap I had to make 26 cards.  You might say, are you crazy you stenciled 26 cards!  Trust me once you get your stencils going it really goes rather quickly.

Now, Let’s start out with these three floral stencil stamping ideas and then I’ll show you one completely filled in and you decide which way you like it best.

This card was the actual card I chose to do for the swap.  It has your basic white card base and then a layer of basic black and the final layer is the stencil stamping with ink.  I only stenciled the floral portion and only used two of the 5 stencils for this card.  I used the Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape inks to achieve the two toned flowers.  There are actually 3 stencils for the flowers and 2 stencils for the leaves, but I wanted to keep it simple when stamping 26 cards I wanted to simplify the process.

This is the same stenciling as the first card except I cut it a bit smaller and used larger layering pieces and attached it to a Gorgeous Grape card base.  The sentiment on all the cards is from the coordinating Layers of Beauty stamp set.

The gems that I used are the Rhinestones colored with the Highland Heather blends.

For this version I matted the stencil stamping paper piece onto a piece of basic black and then onto a larger Gorgeous Grape layer and then on the thick Basic White card base.

Each version just a bit different from the next. Do you see how you can create a variety of floral stencil stamping ideas just by changing up the ways you adhere your stencil stamping with paper ideas?

Now for the final card using these simple stencil stamping with ink ideas.

If you really want to showcase the stencils and stamp set together you can create this final all filled in card.  This card does take a bit longer to finish and is simply gorgeous, but I think they are all very pretty cards.  For the flowers on this card I used the Highland Heather for the first layer, Gorgeous Grape for the second layer, and It sort of disappeared in the photo but Smoky Slate for the third layer.  The leaves were Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.

Now you can see why I only used two stencils for my swap cards instead of 5.
