Try It Thursday – I call this technique the Reverse Joseph’s Coat technique. Instead of having the color behind the Black card stock why not cut the colored piece and add a piece of Black card stock behind it for a reverse Joseph’s Coat.  Give it a try.

If you watched my video last week Tuesday for Technique Tuesday I showed you the Faux Joseph’s Coat technique with dies.  You will find the video below in this blog post if you missed it.  So for today I just switched it up a bit for the reverse Joseph’s Coat.

I love this sentiment and with the brights Designer Series Paper I think this card is perfect for my niece who is fighting cancer.  A nice bright cheery card with a beautiful sentiment.  You will find the sentiment in the Many Messages bundle.

A few Rhinestones to finish out the card with some bling.  I debated whether I put the colorful die cut butterfly back into it’s spot on the black background but, I opted not to do that.
