Now that you know all about the project sheet details, let’s take a closer look at each of the cards! 
Each design showcases the beautiful Gathering Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper in a unique way — from creative fun folds to clever ways to use every last scrap. Get ready for a little fall cardmaking inspiration!

The first card I created with my cut pieces is the Zig Zag Fun Fold Card, and it’s named perfectly because that’s exactly how it looks! I also decided to showcase my prototype card (shown on the left), which uses a different print from the Gathering Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. Both cards feature the same layout and design — just different paper patterns — so you can decide which print you like best for this fun fold card.

The sentiments, thread, and embellishments used on all of the cards come from the Gathering Together Suite of Products. I used the Gathering Moments Bundle for the stamped sentiments, along with the Old Olive and Early Espresso Thread and the Cajun Craze & Gold Dots to add those perfect finishing touches. Everything coordinates beautifully, making it easy to create a polished and cohesive set of fall cards.

Card #2 is the Four Panel Fun Fold Card, and it’s such a stunning design with this paper print! One of the best things about this fold is that you can choose either side of the paper to feature as your card unfolds, giving you a little creative flexibility while still keeping the design elegant and cohesive.

I also brought in my new favorite framelit dies — the Branching Out Dies — to add a decorative frame around the focal points of the cards. They add a little extra interest and dimension, but if you don’t have a die-cut machine or these dies, you can simply cut your cardstock into a rectangle and still achieve a beautiful look.

As the Four Panel Fun Fold Card unfolds, it reveals an inside panel where you can write or stamp your message. I used the Branching Out Dies to create a beautiful frame around the stamped sentiment, and added a few of the leaf and acorn die cuts to tie the whole design together. These little details really make the card feel complete and showcase the warm, autumnal charm of the paper.

Card #3 is another fun fold design, featuring diagonal cut pieces that fit together beautifully on both the front and inside of the card. I turned the cut-off piece from the card front into a pocket on the inside — a perfect spot to tuck a gift card or cash!

The card also includes a removable notecard for stamping or writing a personal message. Once again, I used the Branching Out Dies to add a decorative frame to the focal piece, giving the card that extra touch of dimension and elegance.

There you have it — three fun fold cards all made from a single 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper! So, what do you do with the three larger scrap pieces that are left over? One quick and easy solution is to add the strips down the front of a card. It’s a simple way to use up those pieces while creating a beautiful, quick, and easy card.

Now, you’re probably thinking I forgot about the angled cut from the first card — but I didn’t! I simply added it to the Basic Beige cardstock on the inside of the card, bringing the beautiful paper from the outside to the inside as well. It’s a simple way to tie the design together and make sure every piece of your sheet gets used beautifully.

And there you have it — four stunning fall cards made from just one 12″ x 12″ sheet of Gathering Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper! From the three fun fold designs to the quick and easy strip card, every piece of the paper gets used to create beautiful, cohesive cards perfect for the season.
