If you were wondering why I wasn’t live last night, it’s because I’m celebrating my birthday this week and decided to take the night off. But don’t worry—I still have something special for you! I’ve put together some easy fun fold cards to make with Designer Series Paper along with a FREE downloadable PDF. You can print it out and start creating your own beautiful Designer Series Paper fun fold cards right away.

For my fun fold card, I chose the beautiful Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper, paired with an Early Espresso card base for a rich, elegant look.  The sentiment comes from the coordinating Impressions Abloom stamp set, which ties in perfectly with the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper.

These easy fun fold cards to make with designer series paper feature a diamond flip-out on the front. While it might look a little technical at first glance, it’s actually very easy to assemble! With just a few simple score lines, a pencil mark, and some diagonal cutting, you’ll have the flip mechanism ready to go. Then, simply cut a 3? x 3? square and adhere it on the diagonal to create the diamond shape on the card front.

The daisy flowers on the front were hand-cut from the paper print and popped up with dimensionals for added depth. To finish it off, I added a few of the pressed flower motifs, which bring extra texture and charm to the design

In this picture, I’ve opened the card all the way so you can see the pointed section along with the inside strip of Designer Series Paper. It coordinates perfectly with the front design, creating a seamless look inside and out.

This is a beautiful, quick, and easy card design that you can recreate with any Designer Series Paper you have on hand. You may also notice that it’s similar to the cards I shared in Card Sketch #20, where I featured the Spooky Sweet Halloween papers.  You can find those in my blog post HERE.
