Did you catch last night’s One Sheet Wonder class featuring the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper? I created this fun flip up flip out scenic fall fun fold easel card from just one 6 x 6 sheet of the designer paper. Perfect for any occasion and can easily be done with any of the prints in the pack.  I’m always trying to come up with creative uses for scenic printed papers and this one is perfect.  I had someone ask why I only create one card when using these scenic prints.  My answer is because I want to retain at least a large portion of the scene on my card front and the rest inside.  Generally, when I am creating with these scenic printed papers, I will only create one card.

Club members do not need to purchase the Autumn Expressions bundle to create their club cards, but if they want their sentiments to be identical to mine or if they want to create the one sheet wonder cards like mine then they will need to get the bundle, so they have the sentiments, and the die cuts needed for the bonus projects.  The club kit does come with all the pre-cut dies and supplies needed except for the sentiments, and inks used.

This card has a lot going on, from flipping it up and then out to making it into an easel card.  Let’s take a look.

Here is the card made into the easel, so perfect for the recipient to place on their desk, mantel, or countertop to display.  This is the perfect card for just about any occasion, plus by changing up the prints from the pack you can easily make this card into a masculine card as well.

The change can be beautiful sentiment on the front was hand cut, there is no die to cut it like I have shown.  I free hand cut around the sentiment so as not take away from the scenic print.  There are 3 faux glass dots on the flower centers around the sentiment, but they are hard to see in the photo.

With the card fully opened you can see the inside has the remaining portion of the card front.  In the video I used the whole 2″ section on the inside as is and, on this sample, I cut the 2″ section in half and attached each piece to the side with my sentiment stamped in the center.  There are a lot of components to this card, but it does come together pretty quick.
