Today’s Daisy Lane Bonus card is created with the left over piece of the 6 X 6 Brights Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper from Thursday night’s Facebook Live event.  If you missed the event you can watch it on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” or my Facebook page “The Stamp Camp”.  It was a Swing Arm Fun Fold card.

Sometimes we forget about our left over strips and then they get misplaced or lost or even worse thrown away.  So I decided to create a quick and easy card using the leftover strip from Thursday’s Swing Fold or Gate Fold card.

I’ve been doubling up on my daisy’s lately and I have to say I like the double daisy look.  What do you think?  Do you like the double daisy or do you like just the large and small Daisy’s separated and not stacked together?

I like to have the option to fluff up the petals in all the layers to give it a more realistic appearance.

The Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper is the backside of the print I used on the Thursday’s Fun Fold Daisy Lane card I showed you.  What is nice about this pack of Designer Series Paper is you have 4 different prints to choose from in all the Brights colors.

The Smile sentiment is also from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and I think this card will make the recipient smile; don’t you?  I love the pretty Flirty Flamingo color; but then I’ve always been a pink girl.  My sister was all about the Purples but I was all about the Pinks!

The center of the Daisy has the Clear Faceted Gem; which does sit up a bit so as far as mailing goes I would think you will need an extra postage stamp.  I do like the Faceted Gems for the centers though as they have that bumpy surface just like a real flower center.  You know me I’m all about the bling.

Update on my Dad.  If you missed what I’m talking about keep reading.

This has been a pretty rough and busy week.  My dad was admitted to the hospital a week ago Thursday with heart problems.  He had  his defibrillator replaced yesterday and for now that is all that can be done.  He is moving to a rehabilitation center today.  In a few weeks they will take more test to see if further surgeries need to be done or even if they can be done.  His birthday is coming up on July 8 and he will be 86 years old.  He was in pretty good spirits yesterday when I left and was looking forward to getting out of the hospital today.
