Let’s dive into these 5 fun fold cards

In the video I showed all Thank You cards but for my prototype cards I used the Happy Birthday sentiment.  The sentiments for all the cards is from the Go To Greetings stamp set; which is my go to sentiment stamp set.  If you have a stamp set that does not include or have any sentiments in the set this is the perfect stamp set to pair with that set.

For all the card bases in this collection I used the Night of Navy cardstock and they are all pretty much the same concept except for card #5.  Cards 1 – 4 are all a flip up flip out type card just cut a bit differently.  You will be surprised how you can get so many of the same type card just cutting it a bit different from the next.

Your printed designer series paper can be attached with a little bit of your card base color showing all the way around or butt up the sections; the choice is yours.  For decorating your card fronts you can use a variety of embellishments from ribbon, rhinestones, jewels or the Boho Blue In Color Dots.

To create the sentiment piece and the mat piece I used the coordinating Countryside Corners Dies; perfect framelit dies to create mats that can be layered for different shapes and designs.

The first 2 cards were created from a 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ card base and these 2 cards were created with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ card base.   The cards are the right were created with pieces of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.  I thought with the ribbon and the bow it made them look like presents.

These last 2 cards are just a bit different.  The layout and fun fold is the same but I just used the pieces a bit differently.   For the Happy Birthday card I used the pieces of Designer Series Paper as is and mounted them on a piece of Basic White.    For the Thank You card I cut the 2 wider pieces into smaller strips and for the strip on the end I trimmed it down a bit.
