If you’re looking for unique fun fold card ideas to elevate your cardmaking, you’re going to love today’s stunning Christmas card! I created this design using the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper — and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

You may already recognize this card, as I’ve created it a few times this month! I first shared this unique fun fold card with my team and demonstrated it during our team meeting using the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper. Then, I featured it again in my October 9 YouTube One Sheet Wonder Class, this time showcasing the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I really enjoy creating unique fun fold card ideas — and this particular design has become one of my favorites! Throughout the month, I’ve shown how this same fun fold can be used with different paper prints and themes to fit a variety of occasions, truly highlighting the versatility of this creative card fold.

For my focal element on the card front, I brought in those beautiful Branching Out Dies to create the layered mats. The Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper includes two different sheets that can either be hand-cut or die-cut using the coordinating dies from the Christmas Greenery Bundle. The sentiment banner comes from the coordinating Traditional Labels Bundle—both part of this elegant Christmas suite.

This suite is so stunning that a few of the items are currently on backorder, including the Designer Series Paper Pack and the Traditional Sparkling Sequins. To highlight the gorgeous foil details in the paper, I used Gold Foil with the Branching Out Dies, which really makes the design shine. I also added a small piece of gold foil to the end of the sentiment banner for that extra festive touch.

While this card may look intricate, it’s actually quite easy to assemble—the fun is all in decorating it! Just like the fall card I created in my One Sheet Wonder video, I added a strip of the same designer series paper to the inside of the card. It folds up to reveal the final message when the card is opened, adding a delightful surprise for the recipient.
