Technique Tuesday – Faux Joseph’s Coat Technique with Die Cuts.  Today’s technique is a spin on the Joseph’s Coat technique but with Die Cuts instead of stamps and ink.  I think you get the look of the Joseph’s Coat technique when you use the negative and the positive die cuts from black card stock.

You may notice that the sentiment on the front is from the Many Messages Bundle that I showed you on my Fun Fold Friday card.  I said I knew these sentiments would come in handy and they sure have.  Even though my card base was Daffodil Delight I think the Gorgeous Grape Sentiment works perfect for this card.

This is a great technique if you have lots of Designer Series Paper that you would like to use up those little itty bitty strips on.  You can use different prints or patterns the choice is yours.  I went with the Brights Designer Series Papers and I love the bright colors.  My biggest decision was what color to use for my card base.  Daffodil Delight was the choice for this card; nice and bright and hopefully cheery.
