I did this card for the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.

When I looked at the sketch I thought immediately of my son-in-law who returned home from Deployment about 3 weeks ago. With the Star on the sketch it reminded me of a patriot card and I thought of him and his service to our country.

I liked the Bravo stamp from the “A Dozen Thoughts” stamp sets and the “Thanks” sentiment just came naturally.

I kept the card monochromatic and used the Stars Framelits to cut out my stars.

My son-in-law is one of my biggest supporters in my family; he is always liking my cards on my Facebook page.

So now it is my turn to support him and his service!
Here is a picture of my daughter and son-in-law on their honeymoon cruise last week.

It’s actually Nikki’s birthday today; I’ve already sent her card off and didn’t take a picture, whoops.
