It’s time for more One Sheet Wonder Cards featuring the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper. This paper pack is great for One Sheet Wonder cards; no matter how you cut it they are beautiful.   I also have the Boughs of Holly One Sheet Wonder Template to share with you today as well as the Video Tutorial.  You can watch these cards come to life in action!

With today’s template I have created 16 cards there are 5 different designs so you can mix and match the designs or create all 16 cards the same the choice is yours.  You could easily choose a different print from the pack and do all 16 cards the same for each print; so use the 5 different designs, 1 design or layout per print.  If you did this you would have 80 cards when completed and the cards go together fast, the part that takes the most time is the cutting of the cardstock and sentiment mats.

I bet you looked at the pattern paper and thought it isn’t my favorite piece from the pack but, I think you are taking another look at it now.   The sentiments are from the coordinating Leaves of Holly bundle; as is some of the mats.  The remaining mat shapes are from the All That dies.  The sweet trees are from the Peaceful Deer stamp set.

Let’s take a closer look at each one of these Boughs of Holly One Sheet Wonder Cards:

Each 3 X 3 piece from the Designer Series Paper is matted onto a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock that is 3 1/4″ X 3 1/4″.  The card base is Evening Evergreen 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ and the Soft Succulent piece is 4″ X 5 1/4″.  The only ink color I used on all the cards is the Evening Evergreen.  If you want your project to come together quickly I would suggest cutting all your cardstock pieces first and die cutting all the sentiment mats and then all you have to do is assemble.

For this card I just changed the direction of the card and made it horizontal instead of vertical and stamped a few of the trees on each side of the pattern piece.  You will also notice that I did not add any bling to these cards but you certainly could if you wanted to spruce them up, but I think they are pretty without the bling.  If you wanted to give them some bling I would add the pearls to the tree tops; any of the Festive Pearls would look great!

This card is also horizontal, and I just moved the pattern piece to the side and added a larger tree stamp to the right of it.  You could spruce this one up with some gold Festive Pearls and I think it would really make this design pop.  You could add the pearls on the tree or just on the tree top and a few around it; lots of possibilities don’t you think?

Here we are with another vertical design.  You can make the sentiment any sentiment you have on hand and the little row of trees is perfect to the side; don’t you think?  You can easily change out the tree stamp for another stamp that you might have on hand and if you use a different print in the pack to create these cards you might want to use a holly leave or even the holly and berry dies from the bundle.  A poinsettia stamp with the paper prints from this pack would be pretty too.  I hope I have got your mind going with ideas on how to use this one sheet wonder template.

This layout is similar to the one with the larger tree except that I changed the position of the sentiment and then stamped the smaller row of trees instead of the larger tree.  See how just by changing up the image of a stamp or where you position the sentiment mat can change the whole layout and look of the card.  Again, you could easily add a gold or silver Festive Pearls to the tree tops to make the cards pop.
