My upline with Stampin’ Up! is France Martin and when France hit her One Million in sales she was able to design a stamp set with the help of a designer at Stampin’ Up!  If you know France than you know she loves to take photos of the sun rise and the sun sets.  So, it was a given that she was going to design a stamp set that you can use for not only sun rise or sun set scenic cards and projects but you will find in this months Customer Appreciation PDF file an array of ideas on how to use this stamp set.

Here is one of my cards from the PDF file using this fabulous stamp set.  Keep scrolling and you will find the video on how to create this fun card.

When I read the sentiment: “Even the darkest night will pass and the sun will rise.”  I knew I wanted to create a black card with the sun rising.  But, how do I get the vibrant colors of the sun on black card stock?  Well I have a bit of a technique to this card and it may be something you have never tried before or never even thought possible.

So what do you think?  Pretty cool huh?  This was the first time that I had ever colored over an embossed image with the blends I think.   I was pleasantly surprised at the out come.  So fun to try new things.

I love the new little Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials.  They reminded me of bright stars.  They come in round, diamond or tear drop shapes; so pretty.  I thought they went perfectly on this card.  You know how I like my bling!

I think the inside of this card is just as pretty as the outside.  You’ll have to watch the video or get the PDF file to see what I did on the inside.
