Valentine’s Day or Easter cards today’s one sheet wonder cards are perfect for either occasion.  I just love the “Some Bunny Loves You” sentiment from the Storybook Friends bundle, that I just couldn’t resist creating these fun cards with the little critter die cuts from the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper for the grandkids.

The Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper is part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit for this month and the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper is part of the suite of products.  I decided to combine both paper packs and create 2 sweet Valentine’s Day One Sheet Wonder cards for the grandkids.  If you would like to know more about my Card Club or even subscribe you will find all the information in this blog post HERE.  Club members receive the download project sheet for these cards as well as other bonus cards/projects using the featured papers.

My granddaughter’s will be getting the pop-up cards as they are easy for them to open, and the grandson’s will be getting the other card with the left-over pieces from the pop up card.

Let’s take a closer look at these Easy Valentine’s Day Cards:

This is how the pop-up card looks when it is closed.  I used the Storybook Moments die cuts on the front and inside the pop-up piece.  On the inside I added the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment which is part of the Hugs for Love bundle.

This pinwheel type fold looks tricky, but once you’ve done it a few times you’ll get the idea.  It is just like folding a box top shut, putting one flap under the next, so it will stay closed.

Here is the pop-up piece on the front that shows the bunny and butterfly die cuts and the Lots of Hugs & Kisses sentiment is also part of the Hugs for Love bundle.

For the boys I used up the 4 corners that were cut from the 6 x 6 sheet of the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper to create their special Valentine’s Day Card.

I added the 4 squares to a piece of Boho Blue cardstock and then added that to the Basic Beige cardstock.  To create the sentiment on the front I used the Hugs for Love bundle, and the Some Bunny Loves You sentiment was stamped onto a banner from the Stylish Shapes dies.

The super cute little bunny with his hands full of radishes was the perfect little bunny for my grandson’s cards.

The Storybook Friends bundle comes with bunny stamps that you can stamp, color in with the blends, and then die cut out with the coordinating dies, but since my wrist surgery coloring isn’t a possibility for me.  I still have a hard time writing and coloring, my wrist just doesn’t like that position and might never like it again.  That’s one of the reason’s I love this paper pack because of all the die cuts and coordinating pieces.

So, after the video I created another set of these cards with a different print from the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper.  I think I like these two better, but it just goes to show you how a different piece of paper will give these cards a whole different look.  I needed two pop-up cards one for each granddaughter and two regular cards one for each grandson.  The die cuts are the same as the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper has two of each die cut, which is perfect for me.
