I finally got one of the new 3D embossing folders and the New Embossing Plate.  I had to give them a try.   It worked out perfectly.

This is the new Magnolia 3D embossing folder from Stampin’ Up!  This is part of the Magnolia Lane Suite.

Magnolia Lane Suite Contains

  • Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set
  • Magnolia Memory Dies
  • Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder
  • Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
  • Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes
  • Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack
  • Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack
  • Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments
  • Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (So Saffron)

To purchase the entire suite bundle use Item #152178 $134.75

This embossing folder is quite large and is actually bigger than a card front.  I decided to try and color in the flower with the blends and then I hand cut out the smaller Magnolia.

Stampin’ Up! has went with a new supplier for their embossing folders which means ALL carry over Embossing Folders are not available just yet.  If an embossing folder in the New Catalog has a RED N next to it; it is available to order but you will also need to order the New Embossing Plate or add between 4-5 shims of card stock.

Here is a video from Stampin’ Up! on the New Dies and the New Embossing Folders and the Embossing Plate:

Here is the New Embossing Folder Plate; just click on the picture to add it to your shopping cart.

The Blends I used were the Daffodil Delight Blends and the Petal Pink Blends.

The Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous so I added a piece on the card front and then popped up my Magnolia I cut out.

The Whisper White 1/8″ ribbon was perfect for going across the 2 different Magnolia Lane Designer Series prints.  Tie it off with a little bow and it is complete.
