Stampin’ Techniques with Sophia – Marble Technique

Perfectly Plaid Bundle was the perfect stamp set to go with Sophia's Mable background technique. Details on my blog here: https://wp.me/p59VWq-asA #stampinup #techniques #thestampcamp #Christmas

Stampin’ Techniques with Sophia this week featured the Marble Background Technique.  If you missed the LIVE Facebook event you can go to my Facebook page to view it or click HERE.

Sophia has been coming to Grandma’s house just about every Wednesday and the first thing she says is “amp” which means stamp.  She has really been enjoying doing the technique videos and it is fun to see her reaction.

For this card I punched the background with the Pine Tree Punch that coordinates with my featured stamp set for this month the Perfectly Plaid Bundle.  I covered up the punched out pieces with the Scallop Circle.

The Rhinestones were colored with the Granny Apple Green Dark Blends.

For this card I cut up the background piece into strips and attached the strips to a piece of Whisper White card stock.  This is the same layout I used for my In Color Cards I showed on Tuesday.

The Ink Refills we used for the Marble Technique was the Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce.

Those are very nice cards that Sophia did. Will there be a Techniques with Sophia every Thursday? Good Job!

  2. Glenda says:

Hi Janis, It has been on Wednesday’s but it’s just been a fluke that she always seems to come on Wednesdays. Not this coming week as I will be gone. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more Stampin’ Techniques with Sophia though; she loves it!
