Scenic Sponging

Saturday, April 11, 2015

This month in my downline meeting Sara demonstrated how to do the Scenic Sponging technique. Well at least that’s what I call it because it looks like a scene.

This was my sponged project when I was done sponging:
Scenic Sponging 101

This was really cool because out of 14 people who came to the meeting everyone was different. You can not get the same results every time.

We issued a challenge to our team in that next month when they come to the meeting they need to bring along their finished project. They took home the finished sponged scene and then needed to go home and make something using it. I can’t wait to see what everyone did with their sample. I’m sure some may use it on a scrapbook page some may just frame it and some like me will use it on a card front.

This is my finished card:

It was hard to decide where to attach my sentiment and how to attach it without taking away the scenic view. LOL

It was really fun to do and I need LOTS more practice but its not too bad for my first try.
