Make It Monday – How to Create an Elf Hat

It is Make It Monday and this week it is creating an Elf Hat using the Stitched Triangle Dies from Stampin' Up! The sentiment is from the Christmas Means More stamp set which reminds me of the Christmas Movie Elf with Will Ferrell. #stampinup #thestampcamp #dies

What does this card remind you of?  If you are thinking the Movie Elf starring Will Ferrell than you are correct!  This movie is a family favorite and one that we watch every year.

Join me at 11:00AM EST on YouTube for this week’s video on how to create the Elf Hat and this card.

I’ve paired the Stitched Triangles with the Stitched Nested Dies on this card.  The sentiment which is also part of the movie Elf is from the Christmas Means More stamp set.  What a great stamp set with sayings from some of our favorite Christmas movies.

You can just catch a glimpse of the smaller little Elf hat on the inside of this card; created the same way as the one on the card front just using smaller triangles.

It’s a bit hard to see but I also added texture to the Real Red card stock on the front of the card using the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder.
