Faux Silk

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Today’s post is another faux technique called Faux Silk.? It is a very easy technique to do and it gives a very different look.

This isn’t that great of a picture, sorry about that.? The part that is Faux silk is the strip that goes across the whole card.? To create the faux silk you take a piece of white tissue paper, stamp your image or images all over the piece, once you have it all stamped up, crumple up the tissue paper.? On a piece of Whisper White card stock spread out the Tombow Adhesive, then un-crumple the tissue paper and stick it onto the Whisper White card stock.? Once the glue?is dry trim to the size you want.
